From lynn.derijk at ru.nl Mon Apr 17 09:28:44 2023 From: lynn.derijk at ru.nl (Rijk, L.E.M. de (Lynn)) Date: Mon, 17 Apr 2023 15:28:44 +0000 Subject: [emcai] EMCAI "show-and-tell" meeting this Friday Message-ID: Dear EMCA/AI network members, Our next meeting will take place this Friday (April 21st): - BST (London): 12:00am - CET (Berlin, Stockholm, Paris): 1:00 pm - EDT (Boston, New York): 7:00am - Hong Kong: 7:00pm Zoom link: https://liu-se.zoom.us/j/69884330110 We will do a ?show-and-tell?, meaning brief presentations of some data members are working on. The following people let us know they would like to present: * Christian Licoppe * Damien Rudaz * Antonia Krummheuer * Lola Lumer * Stuart Reeves We decided to slightly change the format and instead plan 10-15 minutes for each presenter, to ensure there will be enough time for discussion. This means we still have one slot left, although if there are multiple people who would like to present in addition to those above, we can definitely do another show-and-tell next month. Please e-mail us if you would like to do a presentation during the show-and-tell, if you haven?t done so already of course. Hereby also the meeting minutes of our last gathering. As always, feel free to add to them! The show-and-tell proved a valuable way to share data and ideas and will return after summer break. In the meeting minutes document we have added a list that will stay pinned to the top. Please add your name if you would like to do a show-and-tell in the future. Once we have three or four presenters we will schedule the next show-and-tell. There will be two more meetings before summer break: May 26 will be a discussion meeting addressing some overarching themes that arose during the last two meetings. On June 30 Damien Rudaz and Christian Licoppe will host a data session on data from the corpus we have seen during the show-and-tell. Closer to these meetings we will send you a reminder and more information as always. Lastly, to those of you who attended for the first time yesterday a warm welcome! If you like you can introduce yourself on these slides.
