Research Associate post, 0.6 FTE, January - August 2025
We are currently recruiting for a Research Associate to work with us on our Innovate UK-funded project on conversational AI for healthcare consultations. The project is a collaboration between the team at Newcastle University (Adam Brandt and Spencer Hazel), teams at two partner universities, and a digital health startup. Postdoctoral Fellowship 2025-26
Spencer Hazel and Adam Brandt (Newcastle University) are interested in supporting an eligible applicant in applying for this Fellowship opportunity, which is funded by the ESRC North-East and Northern Ireland Doctoral Training Partnership. The aim of the Fellowship is to 'consolidate doctoral research', although 25% of work can be allocated to new research. We are therefore keen to support someone who is using CA to examine any AI-related context, particularly if it relates to healthcare and/or communication disorders.

Please note that applicants must have completed their PhD in a UK university by March 2025.
