Dear all,

We are very grateful to everyone who has registered for this event - it looks like it's going to be a pretty big gathering in the end, which is lovely.

If you are considering coming in person or online - please do register soon as we'll have to close registration if it gets very much bigger, and we want to make sure that as many emcai people can come as possible.

We sadly did not include in-person registration options - so if you could let us know whether you'll be attending in-person, can you email us to let us know? Otherwise we'll assume you'll be there online.

More details about the agenda and technology we'll use for hybrid working will be shared to tall registrants soon!

Hi EMCAI people,
William, Patrik, Liz and I want to invite you all to join in with 'First Pair Prompt': a hybrid event based at Cardiff University, UK & Online via Zoom (register here<https://lse.zoom.us/meeting/register/iy_XDnFNSeGcWSUbhWoOYw>).
It's the first in a series of three events that aim to explore EM/CA approaches to LLMs, bringing together a group of researchers to explore how principles, methods, and emerging study designs within EMCA can examine the interactional dynamics and conceptual puzzles posed by technologies that “travel under the sign of AI", as Lucy Suchman (2023<https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/20539517231206794>) puts it.
